DAC, USB decoder using 717A/42 tube for ouput, output transformer is Western Electric. Beautiful sound. Rectifier tube is 80 tube.

Using ES9038Q2M decoder for DAC, XC2C64A Amanero USB IIS for USB interface.

Just to let you know everything is working perfectly and the sound is better than I ever thought possible.

The 71A pre/DAC with the 45 SE amp gives a really crystal clear soundstage that is wide and deep with everything in precise place. I can hear air and space with every fine detail revealed. Every instrument is separate and musical.
Added to this is a very rich and natural tone. Notes almost shimmer and voices sound so in the room it's uncanny. It's like a dreamscape of sound -amazing.

I thought I was happy with just the 45 amp and my DAC. But your 71a DAC/Pre makes everything so much more amazing particularly soundstage, bass detail and tone.

You are obviously a master of your craft.
