Today I introduce one of the best turntable that Japanese made, Yamaha KT-3 early version. It is used for 60Hz area.

This was originally developed by TTO (Tokyo Television Onkyo ) Original model is TTO R-12, Yamaha bought this model and developed new model based on R-12, named it KT-3. KT-3 was used in broadcast station, as well as professional purpose.

This used oil damped tonearm and embeded tube phono amplifier.

Tube amplifier adopt 6SL7, 6SL7, 6J7 and 6V6 tube, with output 8~16ohm. You can connect directly to speaker to use this turntable.

Amplifier has tone control and EQ selector help you select many kind of recorder.

This is considered same grade as EMT 927, Garrards 301, Garrards 401 and Thorens TD-124.
