This is the best musical amp which has output under 2W that I have ever made. Using 71A tube, para single end amplifier. Driver tube is 101D, rectifier tube is 83. Regulator tube are 6V6. No NFB !

I have made many many kind of tube amp using 71A tube, but this one give me the most satisfaction although it is not a cost performance amplifier.

Input transformer use finemet core, special order made. No prestage tube was used, input transformer was used instead of prestage tube.

71A tube is excellent tube for audio, it is same as 101D, 102D , which is very musical and beautiful sound, but it has low output power so it is very difficult to make an power amplifier with 71A as output tube. An single end 71A tube can procedure max 0.8W, this amplifier use 2 tube in one side Para SE schematic
Sound is perfect, very dynamic, beautiful and musical with middle range rich of sound. It is really amazing sound with only 2W of output.
